We review the document type, destination country, timing, and return address; coordinate submission to the California Secretary of State; and include prepaid Certified Mail return postage addressed to the client.

What stays with you

The Secretary of State decides whether to issue an apostille. The receiving organization determines what it requires. We do not give legal or immigration advice, provide immigration services, or help complete immigration forms.

HOW APOSTILLE FACILITATION WORKS

Clear terms.
Before we begin.

  1. We quote first and confirm our fee, State fees, and return postage in writing.
  2. Payment is due in full before we submit the request.
  3. Cancel before we begin and receive a full refund. If we find your document cannot be submitted, we refund you in full. Cancel after work has begun but before submission and receive a refund minus $50. After submission, our facilitation fee is not refundable.
  4. The California Secretary of State decides whether to issue an apostille. We cannot control a State decision, State processing time, or carrier delay. If the State refunds a State fee to us, we pass it on to you.
  5. If a rejection results from an issue with the document or its issuing or notarizing authority, we can resubmit one corrected document for $75, plus applicable State fees and postage, when we receive the corrected document and State notice within 60 days of the notice date.
  6. If a rejection results from our facilitation error, we will refund our facilitation fee and cover one resubmission, including required State fees and postage.
  7. We include a prepaid, Certified Mail return envelope addressed to you, so the State returns your completed document directly to you. Keep copies where you can.
  8. We do not provide legal or immigration advice, immigration services, or help completing immigration forms.
